I am a passionate software developer with a keen interest in machine learning and data analytics. My journey in the tech world is marked by active participation in data science communities and hands-on experience in various data-centric roles.
Data Science Africa
I am an aspiring researcher and also a member of the Data Science Africa (DSA) community. In 2023, I attended the DSA conference in Kigali, which was a transformative experience.
This year, I continued my involvement by participating in the DSA conference in Nyeri, where I furthered my knowledge and network in the data science field.
Professional Experience
May-August 2023 – Interned as a data analyst at Kenya Power in Mombasa . This internship allowed me to apply my data analysis skills in a real-world setting, contributing to impactful projects and gaining valuable industry experience.
June 2024 – Worked as a data annotator, where I played a crucial role in creating queries to train GEMINI AI. This project was in collaboration with JHUB Africa, where I participated in the data collection workshop.
